Activities Aide
Citadel Care Center of Kankakee is seeking a hard-working Activities Aide to join our team. Under the supervision of the Activities Director, the Activities Aide assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational, physical, emotional and psychosocial programs in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.
Activities Aide Essential Job Functions:
- Implements activity programming as planned and assigned to meet the functional levels, needs and interests of each resident.
- Assists residents to and from activity programs and outings.
- Maintains good rapport with family members and encourages family support in programs.
- Provides input to the assessment and evaluation of the resident's participation when requested.
- Communicates a resident's concerns and responses to interventions to immediate supervisor.
- Supports a resident's individual needs, preferences, customary routines and choices.
- Other duties as assigned by Activities Director.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Related experience preferred
